Casey Key is barrier Island, over a stretch of the island the width is little more than 100 yards wide. This narrow strip is enough for a beautiful beach, CaseyKey Rd, a home with gulf frontage and boating access on Blackburn bay which is bisected by the intercoastal waterway. On the northern end of Casey Key you'll find the islands width increase to nearly 1/4 mile. This section of the Island backs to Drymans Bay. Here you can find Island homes with beach access, while not being water front homes, beach access and the exclusivity of living on Casey Key makes these homes popular.
The southern end of the island is where you will find public beach access as well as a number of quaint gulf and bay front inns.
